Waipara Valley Vineyard Trail Map
The Waipara Valley Vineyard Trail has been developed by the Hurunui Trails Trust to encourage cycling and walking in the Waipara Valley. Pass through world-class vineyards and historic farms; visit cellar doors and dine at winery restaurants; experience Greening Waipara Biodiversity Trails, the historical steam train at Weka Pass Railway and other activities in the area. Enjoy a trail designed for cyclists, walkers, joggers - young and old. The views across the valley to the main divide are truly remarkable.

There is parking and public toilets at the Glenmark Reserve and at Torlesse Winery, who also have bikes available for hire. The surface of the Trail is suitable for mountain bikes and is of variable quality. It is a work in progress ~ for bigger and better Trails, please donate!
CODE OF CONDUCT
The Trail passes through private vineyards and farms - hazards may include machinery and vehicles, livestock, spraying and unfenced water.
Visitors are responsible for their own safety at all times - children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure that all children are supervised at all times on the Trail.

- no dogs or other animals
- maintain awareness of your surroundings
- obey all signs and notices
- take your rubbish with you
- leave gates are you find them
