Monday 26 Feb – the forest managers have informed the trail network that due to fire risk the Hanmer Forest trails north of Jollies Pass Rd are closed to all walking and riding.
The Heritage Forest remains open as does the Woodland Ponds/Squirrel Lake area and the Conical Hill Walkway – note the Conical Hill Loop cannot be fully done as the track from the summit of Conical Hill down to the Woodland area is part of the closure
Please heed the closure signage and tape, we will notify everyone once the forest managers allow access

In the St James, the Edwards Valley track and Maling Pass track remain closed to all vehicles but open to walkers, cyclists and horse riders
