With the recent storm cycle and more winter weather on the way, please think carefully before setting out on the St James Cycle Trail – definitely be prepared for winter conditions – snow, slush, frozen icy trails and below zero temperatures. Currently the trail over Maling Pass is under snow, frozen slush and very slippery – dangerous conditions.

Always better to wait until the wind and sun have done their work to clear the trail.
